The Return

The Return is aptly named because it marks my return to music. While I never stopped playing and writing music, this marks the first time in 10 years since a piece of music I was involved with creating and producing has been released to the public. This song is a fusion of retro, EDM, and Hard Rock/Metal. I’ve always taken pleasure in mixing multiple genres of music. This guitar instrumental exudes a sense of triumph and embarks the listener on a short adventure through two of my favorite genres.

Some songs take some effort to write, while others just flow out into the world. This one is the latter and came easily to me. With each song that I write it is my intent to give the listener an enjoyable experience with something I hope they’ve never heard before. It feels amazing to write music again for the joy of it rather than as a job. It is one skill I have to give to the world that comes nearly as easily as breathing. My goal is to write music that I enjoy that others take as much from as I did creating it. I hope you enjoy!
