Chaotic Despair is named because the main music has a somber tone flanked by two differing leads that create a sense of ordered chaos. This tone emotionally reflects a turbulence of hopelessness juxtaposed by a sense of distant possibility. This is an emotion I’ve felt from time to time when facing and confronting my darkest hours. The most important thing to remember when in a state of Chaotic Despair is that things are not always as hopeless as they seem. The leads in this song are designed to reflect a distant light that can grow from this somber place. There is always a way to persevere through any situation no matter how grim.
